The Holidays are over and everyone is taking down the decorations... I just can't bring myself to do the same yet. I love my Christmas decorations, yes I also love the simplicity of after the holidays are over and taking down the tree to reveal a simpler look, but for some reason this year is different. My family is scattered this year and we weren't all together for the holidays, maybe that something to do with it... I'll take it down sometime soon... at least before spring... here are a few pictures I took tonight of my "winter" look... I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do
I made both of the stitches last year... I think they are both Homeberries patterns.
Thank you for stopping by, from my home, to yours,
Have a Very Blessed New Year!

I feel the same as you but with working this past weekend and being off for the next three days I figured I better do it. Our outside will be up for awhile though because of this cold snowy weather we have been having here in Pa. Love your decorations and I don't blame you for wanting to look at them a while longer:_)

I know! My house looks so bare now without my Christmas decor! I really didn't get to enjoy it all this year like usual!
I love all of your winter decor...love the snowmen! I wish you could share a little of your snow with us! We haven't gotten any yet!
Blessings to you for a Happy New Year, Sonya!

Hi there, just found your lovely blog and love your decorations, I keep my snowman things out till march! Your baby Bella is TOO CUTE, what a lovely lil' gift from God:)
I agree with you, I could have left mine up longer too, but want to redo our bedroom, so I figured I'd put them away before I get too involved in a makeover.
Your stitcheries are super cute and I really enjoyed all the pictures of your beautiful home.
Blessings to you for 2010!

Love your winter decor. I still have my tree up so you are not alone. It will come down sometime but not goona sweat it if it's not til mid Feb.
I just had to come back and leave a comment about the comment you left on my blog about your simple wynter pleasures. I love the idea of your Amish night! However did you come up with that idea. It's such a romantic thought, really. Living simply, less distractions, more time together... I love it!!
thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts with me.
Hugs~ Birgit
